Getty Villa for Narry's Birthday!

seems like I always have a lot of pictures to upload regardless if I have a camera or not haha!

well, Dec. 16 we took Narry to the Getty Villa in Malibu. When I say we I meant just me and Phishi. I was surprised that they never been there. It's a really lovely place, and I've been there twice already. What amazed me more was the architectural design of the museum itself. How many museum you can find that model after the real ROMAN HOME? not many right? so yea, The Getty Villa building was actually modeled after ancient Roman home. This alone already got my attention. Im not so interested in the statues since I already knew most of the history about it, haha. seems like Im bragging, but I kinda have to know because I am a history student. but overall I really appreciate the museum, definitely one of my favorites

Im glad they liked the Getty Villa. we're planning to go to The Getty Center in LA, but seems like everyone is busy except me :/The Getty Center is a bit different and more contemporary so I hope it wont disappoint them, but we'll see what happen. I love museums... who doesnt?

Christmas Party 2010

it's that time of the year again. Christmas party at Ny's work that is. I usually never anticipated to go, but they have free food and open bar so what the heck, why not? Beside, Ny gets all upset if I dont go with him. I do like to dress up though. I bought a dress that I never wore so Im gonna use this advantage to dress up.

so here we are.. dressing and ready to go. I never liked the lighting in my room. for some reason it's not very flattering. it shows all flaws man!

the food. the portion isnt all that great, but the quality is pretty top notch. This year's party was at Down Town LA's Nick and Stef Steak House. Nice place, good food, and amazing view.

I like my prime rib bloody, almost raw. most people would cringe seeing how raw this is. to me? bomb stuff!

behind me were rows of MEAT! months old meat. how are they manage to keep them fresh? Idk. and how do I know they're months old? there are tags on each and every meat

dessert was alright. I was too busy enjoying my prime rib

see what I mean amazing view? never knew LA looked this beautiful at night

what a night. I knew I should have taken advantage of the open bar. damnit, I wasnt even the driver

so saturday Nov. 2oth was my cousin's wedding. She was one of my bridesmaids for my wedding last year. anyway, Im kinda sad that I didnt get any pic of her and her husband. Her wedding was beautiful! I love the decoration. At first I was skeptic about her color coordination-pink & purple? but who knew, it came out nicely. so here it is... mostly pics of me and Ny

The bottom pictures are pics from our San Diego. Ny decided to take me to San Diego because I wanted to visit the zoo for the longest. Since he took a week off from work we had a lot of time so why not? hehe anyway, we didnt actually go to the zoo, we went to wild adventure park, which I heard supposedly better.

and oh, trust me, it was extremely cold that day. It may look nice and sunny, but it was almost freezing! I may be exaggerating since I get cold easily, but it was something like that.

Overall fun experience. I still love the dessert more, but this is not bad either. I get to see animals and hang out at the casino. you know, most casino usually have som bomb buffets lol
